Existing play equipment is very tatty looking and needs updating for children to make the most of this play area.

There are some very attractive pieces of playground equipment nowadays which blend better with a rural setting. I hope the PC will look around at different styles before deciding, and choose paint colours which complement the area.

Excellent idea, there has been no investment into this play area for a very long time, only on-going running repairs. Just some other funding sources to consider to reduce the cost upon the Parishioners, Kent County Playing Fields Association: https://www.kentpfa.org.uk/ Suez Communities Trust: https://www.suezcommunitiestrust.org.uk/
Biffa Award: https://www.biffa-award.org/recreation/ (Biffa currently hold MBC Waste & Recycling Collection Contract) Members Devolved Budgets of local KCC and MBC Councillors.

The playground needs updating, its about the only one we visit that hasn’t had any money spent on it, possible since it was first installed? West farleigh and Barming have funded some lovely creations. It seems a bit of a make do and mend for only a very small number of new items.
